Whip Around is proud to welcome Kevin Roberts and Ricky Sevta to its Board of Directors. Both leaders bring decades of proven success across global marketing, SaaS growth, and operational strategy—and their expertise will help power Whip Around’s continued expansion across North America and international markets.
Founded in 2016 in New Zealand and now operating across the U.S., Whip Around is a fast-growing fleet inspection and maintenance platform used by fleet operators in logistics, construction, transportation, sanitation, emergency response, and more. These latest board appointments reflect Whip Around’s mission to bring safety, efficiency, and digital transformation to frontline industries around the world.
Kevin Roberts: Global Brand Strategist and Leadership Expert
Kevin Roberts brings deep U.S. and international marketing experience from senior executive roles at Procter & Gamble, Pepsi-Cola, Saatchi & Saatchi Worldwide, and Publicis Groupe. Now based in North America, Roberts leads his global advisory firm Red Rose Consulting, working with startups, corporates, and agencies across sectors.

His boardroom experience includes serving as COO and board member of Lion Nathan, and as Chair of My Food Bag, where he helped guide the company to a successful public listing. He is also the author of five influential books on branding, leadership, and performance.
“It’s incredible that services that are vital to the daily life of communities, cities and countries are still largely stuck in paper,” said Roberts. “The opportunities for greenfield growth are vast, and Whip Around has a proven foothold to exponentially expand in the US and globally.”
Ricky Sevta: SaaS Growth Leader and Technology Operator
Ricky Sevta brings deep B2B SaaS expertise from his role as Chief Revenue Officer of Simpro, where he led the company from early-stage to over US$100 million in annual recurring revenue. Under his leadership, Simpro secured US$550 million in investment and achieved a billion-dollar valuation.

An engineer by training with specialties in mechatronics, robotics, and automation, Sevta is also CEO of Deep Space, a construction management software company, and co-founder of VentureOn Partners, advising ANZ companies on scaling through growth strategy and M&A.
“I’m passionate about creating user-friendly software for people who work in field service management which involves every sort of commercial vehicle and piece of moveable equipment imaginable,” said Sevta. “Blue-collar trades make the world function. Whip Around has an entire global industry ahead of it—it’s not a niche.”
Positioned for Exponential Scale
Whip Around CEO Noah Hickey emphasized the importance of these appointments at a time of rapid company growth.
“With over 32 million commercial vehicles and 3.5 million fleets in the U.S., and much of fleet maintenance still a mix of whiteboards, spreadsheets, Post-it notes and filing cabinets stuffed with paper, the trajectory for Whip Around is accelerating,” said Hickey.
In 2025, Whip Around signed new strategic partnerships with Fullbay (Phoenix, AZ) and Platform Science (San Diego, CA), with additional integrations in development to support enterprise-grade sell-through strategies across the transportation and logistics ecosystem.
Whip Around’s platform is now used by fleets across all 50 U.S. states, and in regions including South America, Europe, South Africa, and Australia. The company continues to expand horizontally across new markets and vertically across adjacent asset types such as trailers, forklifts, pallet jacks, scaffolding, medical equipment, and more.
