Meeting your implementation manager 

First things first, you’ll need to get acquainted with your main contact for the implementation phase.

Your implementation manager will be your trusted guide as you onboard and train your team with Whip Around. At this stage in the process, you can expect:

  • A welcome email from your dedicated manager 
  • A kickoff session for planning and training

We will use the session as an opportunity to understand how your team defines value, identify who will be training your drivers, and select members of your team to attend the training sessions.

Getting started with Whip Around

Once you’ve determined who will be using Whip Around and what they’ll be doing, it’s time to set up your accounts. This includes configuring user permissions, selecting notification preferences, and ensuring each member of your team is able to log in to both the browser and mobile app versions of the platform.

Thanks to customizable user permissions, you can define roles for various team members however you see fit. This means setting different access levels for different users to ensure data security.

Getting people and assets ready to go

Before you can begin executing inspections and automating your maintenance processes, you’ll need to get your drivers, mechanics and assets into the system.

Fortunately, this is simple — and our Implementation team will be there to guide you.

This step includes getting profiles set up for your drivers and mechanics, then training them on how to use the app. We’ll also walk you through building and customizing inspection forms, uploading important driver documentation, and managing any defects found during inspections. 

Executing inspections and maintenance processes

Utilizing Whip Around’s reporting dashboard

Whip Around starts collecting a vast amount of important fleet data the moment you begin using it. 

But if you don’t know what to do with that data, what’s the point?

That’s why our Implementation team will show you how to use Whip Around’s custom dashboards, which enables users to zero in on and analyze the most crucial performance metrics, from vehicle inspection details and maintenance history to fuel consumption trends and more.

Once they’ve filled you in, you’ll be able to:

  • Utilize pre-built charts and graphs to gain immediate insights into essential fleet maintenance data. 
  • Use real-time fleet analytics to identify trends and patterns.
  • Export and share custom dashboard data and charts in various formats, such as CSV and Excel.
